Let’s be real!

Fake:

adj.

Having a false or misleading appearance, pretense.
No matter who you are, or where you come from, the chances are you’ve probably had your fair share of “fake” experiences.
Some of these experiences can actually be very simple and innocent, they can even be quite enjoyable! For instance, a special Fx show, a magician, whatever takes your fancy.
However, there is nothing more unpleasant than dealing with fake people. You know the type. The ones who compliment you to your face, and then bitch about you behind your back.  It just makes no sense to me. If you don’t like someone, then why go out of your way to be deliberately false to their face? Why not just politely ignore them? Let them do them, and you do you.
Don’t cut the absolute back off of someone, and then shower them with pretend compliments. It’s time consuming, energy wasting, and pure pointless.
There’s an age old saying “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”,  Well perhaps we should also  teach people that if you do have something nice to say, but you don’t mean it, you probably shouldn’t say it either.
I mean honestly, what is the point? What are you gaining? Maybe it’s all a tireless effort to ensure that you are “liked”. Keep your enemies closer, and all that jazz.

“I love your skirt! where did you get it?”
“It was my moms in the 80s!”
“Ooh vintage!”

“That is the fugliest looking skirt I have ever seen”
Don’t do a “Regina George” on it. Keep it real. You may think it’s the fugliest looking skirt ever, but don’t tell her it’s amazing.
I’m sick of people complaining about how much they dislike someone, but then acting like their “BFF”.
The same goes for girls that “dumb themselves down”. That’s not cute. That was never cute, stop doing that. Believe it or not having a brain is attractive.

So as I come to the end of yet another rambling,  I think it’s safe to say you get the point. Leave your “fakeness” at home kids! ❤
